Mike became an owner of Fusion Building Systems in 2010, acquiring a decade old business that produced high quality steel frames for the construction industry. Fusion continued to thrive, firmly establishing it as a UK leader in light gauge steel panelised superstructures optimising offsite manufacturing. In 2022 The Hill Group purchased the business and Mike remains responsible for managing and leading the senior team, working with them to implement a growth strategy which will further develop the business.
Read moreWith more than 25 years working in the construction industry, Simon has extensive knowledge of light gauge steel, timber frame and traditional masonry construction methods. Simon started his career as a construction technician, working for a small company in Oxfordshire. He later began to carve out his interest in offsite, initially working in design and project management for two of the UK’s largest timber frame manufacturers.

Read moreWith over 15 years’ experience in offsite construction in both steel framing and timber systems, Jaspreet has worked closely with many of the country’s top 20 house builders and main contractors. He heads up pre-construction activities, which includes aiding the production of Fusion’s systems to meet architect designed plans. Jaspreet works with the client team and assists in developing the architectural drawings to design the Fusion frame before handing over to the design and engineering team.
Read moreWith responsibility for the structural engineering of the Fusion structures and the management of both internal and external Engineering teams, Michael has a crucial role to play in ensuring the safe and efficient design of Fusion Structures. Michael studied at Coventry University achieving a First Class Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Structural Engineering, which included a 12 month industrial placement working in the Coventry Highways department for Jacobs Engineering.
